Dear Colmcille Supporters,
Firstly, thank you for your incredible support for last year’s Players Fund Predictor. With your generosity, we were able to purchase polo tops for the senior panel ahead of the county final and significantly subsidise the purchase of equipment for the team for the 2025 season.
We’re excited to announce the return of the National Football League Predictor for 2025, with some updates to make it easier for you to participate and for us to manage. Here’s everything you need to know:
How It Works:
• Predict the outcomes of National Allianz League football matches weekly across all divisions.
• Scoring:
• 4 points for a correct home win.
• 5 points for a correct away win.
• 8 points for a correct draw.
• New for 2025: Double-Up Option; select one fixture per division each week as your Double-Up fixture. Correctly predicting the outcome earns double points for that fixture!
Rules:
1. Predictions:
• Submit predictions online whenever possible here.
• If unable to do so, complete your predictions on a manual sheet and return to any player who will enter them online for you.
• Alternatively, prediction sheets will be available at Murtagh’s, Paddy’s, Smear Stores, and the Hill Top Bar and they will get entered in once there €5 with each sheet.
2. Entry Fee: €5 per prediction sheet per week.
3. Prizes:
• Weekly: €100 for the highest score on a single prediction sheet.
• Overall: €150 for the highest total score after 7 weeks.
4. Duration: The predictor runs for 7 game weeks of the National Football League.
5. Deadlines: Predictions and payments must be submitted before the start of each week’s matches.
6. Tiebreakers: In the event of a tie, prizes will be split evenly.
7. Updates: Results will be shared on social media and club notes and there will be a league table with the Top 10 updated on our website.
All proceeds go directly toward supporting Colmcille GFC senior men, helping ensure we have the resources needed for success in 2025. Participants are encouraged to compete in the spirit of fair play and sportsmanship.
