Congratulations to Abbeylara on their hard-fought victory. We’ll be back stronger next year.
Commiserations to our U16 team and coaches, who put in a strong performance in the U16 Football Championship B Cup Semi-Final, but unfortunately came up short with a final score of 2-10 to 1-08 in Killoe’s favour.

Club News:
As we close out this year’s senior journey, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported our team along the way. While it’s a bitter disappointment not to bring home the Sean Connolly Cup, the journey was made unforgettable by the incredible backing from our sponsors, supporters, and the entire community. The flags, bunting, colours, and the overwhelming support throughout the village lifted the team and spurred the lads on in every moment. Your financial support and encouragement also made a huge difference, and the pride you’ve shown for our club is something we’ll never forget. Thank you to everyone involved for making this journey so special – it means the world to us all.
Congratulations to Father Manning Gaels on their impressive victory in the Intermediate Final against Sean Connolly’s. A well-deserved win, and credit to all the players, coaches, and supporters who contributed to this achievement. Best wishes to the Gaels as they move up to senior ranks – a great success for the club!
Commiserations to Aaron Jones and his Owenmore Gaels teammates on narrowly missing out on county final glory on Sunday. Hard luck to all involved, but reaching the final is a tremendous achievement, and the dedication shown throughout the season is something to be proud of.
Congratulations to Declan and Rose Marie Smith, who tied the knot last Saturday 26th October! We at Colmcille GFC extend our warmest wishes and heartfelt congratulations to the happy couple. Declan has been a member of our club for many years, most recently playing with our junior team. We hope Declan and Rose Marie enjoyed every moment of their wedding day, surrounded by friends, family, and neighbours. Here’s to a lifetime filled with love, joy, and happiness!
