You can enter next week’s 50/50 draw by purchasing envelopes at any local shop or pub or by entering online. The draw will take place in the Hill Top bar on Monday 27th. The link can be found on any of our social media platforms.

Club News:
The Every Step Counts initiative is well underway, and Colmcille GFC currently ranks 44th in Leinster. There’s still plenty of time to make a difference and improve our standing, so we’re encouraging everyone to get involved. This is a fantastic opportunity to stay active, promote health and well-being, and help the club at the same time. By signing up and logging your steps, you’ll contribute to our overall total and give us a chance to win prize money for the club. Whether it’s a walk, jog, or run, every step you take counts towards our position!

Membership options for the upcoming season will be available soon and will be shared on our website and social media platforms. We are excited to announce that payments will once again be accepted conveniently through the club app, making the process quick and easy for everyone. Membership is a vital part of supporting the club, and we encourage all members, both new and returning, to register early. Further details, including pricing and membership benefits, will be announced shortly. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to another successful year at Colmcille GFC!

Colmcille GFC is seeking participants for Scór Sinsear 2025, offering a great opportunity to showcase your talents, represent the club, and connect with others in the community. Whether you are a singer, dancer, or musician, or have a flair for drama or storytelling, we want to hear from you. This is a wonderful chance to highlight the talent within our parish and get involved with the club. For more information or to participate, contact Grace on 087 796 2558.

Our senior team’s National League Predictor fundraiser continues this weekend with Gameweek 2 now in full swing! Week 1 was eventful, with some postponements and new rules to navigate, but we’re delighted to announce our first winner. Congratulations to Vincent Hourican, who claimed the €100 prize with an impressive score of 62 points. Please note that due to the postponements, the affected games were not included in the Week 1 scores and will not be counted retrospectively to ensure fairness for all participants. The Top 10 leaderboard is available on our website and social media pages. All participants should have received an email with their scores—please check your spam folder if it hasn’t arrived. For those who entered manually and want to know their scores, please contact Philip on 087 235 5766. Be sure to get your predictions in for the second round of National Football League games through the link online or by contacting any senior player.

Well done to Longford, who earned a hard-fought point against Limerick on Sunday last in Glennon Bros Pearse Park. It was a thrilling opening game in the National League, showcasing great determination from the team. The focus now turns to this weekend as Longford travel to Clonmel to face Tipperary on Saturday at 2:30 PM. Best wishes to the team and, in particular, to Cathal McCabe, Ruairi Harkin, and Jack Macken.
