Colmcille GFC is celebrating a fantastic achievement as our Scór Sinsear representatives have secured their place in the Leinster Final following an impressive performance at the Leinster Semi-Final in Wilkinstown, Co. Meath. Our set dancing team, consisting of Michelle Campbell, Shannon Clarke, Geraldine Reilly, Amanda McKeon, Eileen Doyle, Karen Donnelly, Grace McGauran, Patricia Reilly, and Breda Kennedy, delivered an outstanding display, while Rebekah Brady captivated with her solo singing performance. This is a remarkable accomplishment, and we are incredibly proud of their success. Best of luck to all as they prepare for the Leinster Final.

Hard luck to our U-16 team, who battled hard but fell short in their recent matches. They put in a strong effort against Ballymahon Forgney Carrick Sarsfields, but despite a solid performance, the game finished 3-16 to 3-9 at Leo Casey Park. In their second outing, they faced a tough Killoe Óg side, with the final score ending 5-9 to 3-9 at Emmet Park. Well done to all the players for their efforts—keep working hard, and the results will come.

Colmcille GFC wishes the very best of luck to our underage players as they compete in Féile Peil na nÓg South Group 2 on Monday, March 31st, at Michael Fay Park. St. Colmcille’s will have a bye in Round 1 before facing St. Patrick’s Óg at 6:45 PM and Killoe Óg at 7:15 PM. Best of luck to all players and coaches—enjoy the games and give it your all!

Colmcille GFC’s senior team kicks off their All County Football League Division 1 campaign this Sunday, March 30th, with an away clash against St. Mary’s Granard at 12:00 PM in Higginstown. Best of luck to the players and management as they begin their league journey. Let’s get the season off to a strong start—your support is greatly appreciated!

Colmcille GFC extends our best wishes to Ryan Farrell as he represents Longford in the Leinster U-20 Football Championship. Ryan and his teammates will take on Louth in Round 1 of Group 2 on Wednesday, March 26th, at 7:30 PM in the Centre of Excellence, Darver.
