Club News:
Congratulations to Ruairi Harkin, Jack Macken, Enda Macken and Cathal McCabe who were named by Mick Solan to join the Longford Senior Football Panel for the 2025 season. Well deserved to the lads after great seasons in 2024.
Colmcille GFC would like to wish all our players, members, supporters, and the wider community a very Happy New Year. Thank you for your incredible support throughout 2024. We look forward to another successful year ahead both on and off the field.
Last weekend, we celebrated our Minor B Championship winners with a medal presentation at the Hilltop Bar. A special thanks to new Longford Chairman Derek Fahy for presenting the medals and to Norman and Michelle for sponsoring the team’s gear and the venue. This talented team, an amalgamation of Dromard GAA and Ballymore GAA, put in tremendous effort to bring the Glen Brady Cup home. Congratulations to the players and management on this fantastic achievement—well done to all involved!
Thank you to everyone who joined and supported our Christmas Charity Walk on St. Stephen’s Day. We appreciate everyone who took part and helped make the walk a success. In total there was €1,265 raised from the walk and also a donation of €430 from our senior football team. We will present the money to Colmcille NS to go towards the Special class there.
Colmcille GFC extends heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to two newly engaged couples! We want to congratulate Darren Mulligan & Christina Harmon (Carrigallen) and also Niall Hudson & Orla Connolly. Best wishes to you for the future.
